About T Level Route
T Level Route exists to put every T Level route and every registered provider in one place, built from official data rather than marketing copy, alongside guidance on choosing, applying for and completing one.
Who publishes it
T Level Route is published by Data Torturing Solutions, a small UK publisher. There is no editorial team of hundreds and no claim to be one — see the ground rules below for exactly what that means for what you read here.
How this site is written
Two kinds of content live here, and they're held to different standards:
- Provider and course pages are generated directly from official government sources and rebuilt when those change — see below. Nobody edits these by hand; a correction means fixing the generator or waiting for the next official update.
- Guides are researched and written specifically for this site. They do not use a fictional first-person narrator ("I did a T Level and here's what happened") — nobody publishing this site did one, and inventing that experience would be dishonest. Instead, every factual or statistical claim in a guide is sourced to somewhere you can check — GOV.UK, Ofqual, a provider's own page, or a specific published account when a guide describes what applying or studying is actually like. Where a guide quotes a student's or parent's experience, it links the real, findable, published source of that account rather than presenting an invented one as fact. Anything time-sensitive (funding rules, entry requirements, UCAS tariff points) carries a review date, because those rules move and a guide that doesn't say when it was checked is a guide you can't trust.
Where the data comes from
The provider and course pages are generated, not written by hand:
- T Level routes and subjects — the official subject list published by the Department for Education's T Levels programme site, including which routes have not yet launched and which are closing to new enrolments.
- Providers — the list of schools and colleges registered to deliver T Levels, published by the Department for Education.
Those sources contain public sector information licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0, and every page that reproduces them says so. Provider registrations and the subject list both change at most a few times a year — nothing here is scraped hourly — so each page states when it was last checked and links back to the official source. Check the official page before you rely on anything here, especially before applying or enrolling.
How the site pays for itself
Display advertising, through Google AdSense (not yet active — see the privacy policy). That's it. Specifically, what this site doesn't do:
- No school, college or provider can pay to appear here, to appear higher, or to be removed. The listings are generated from a public register; the code doesn't have a concept of a paying customer.
- No affiliate links, no referral fees, no lead generation. Your details aren't sold to anybody, because none are collected.
- No sponsored articles. Nothing on this site has been paid for or approved by a school, college, employer or government department.
What this site isn't
T Level Route is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Department for Education, Ofqual, any school, college, training provider or employer named on it. Nothing here is careers, financial, legal or tax advice — see the terms for the long version of that.
Corrections
If something here is wrong — a provider listed that's no longer registered, a course status that's out of date, or a guide that misstates a rule — email hello@tlevelroute.co.uk and it will be fixed. Corrections to factual errors are free, quick and don't require you to be anybody in particular.
